Edmodo is a classroom social network tool that we will use to compliment this wiki. We can use it the following ways:
Post assignments and share reminders
"Hand-in" assignments virtually
Ask each other for help with projects, homework, etc.
Share cool discoveries
As with the wiki, all posts must be respectful, constructive, and school appropriate.
To join your class group follow these steps:

in a new tab or window.
Click on "I'm a student"
Enter the group code for your class period: Period 1 is nlb3ap and Period 2 is maxmce ; Period 5 ELL Bio is 7yq4ra
Create a username that is a combination of your full first name and last initial or full last name
Enter a password YOU WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER
Enter your gmail. If you don't have a gmail get one now following the recommendations on the getting started page
Enter your full first name and last name. EDMODO IS PRIVATE AND SECURE :)
After joining click on "settings" in the upper right.
Choose how you would like to recieve notifications (email or text). Your information is not shared with others. If you have limited texting, then choose email, otherwise text is great.
Check off all the notification types and save.
Upload a picture (again one of yourself is OK because this is private). Your picture must be school appropriate.
